Little Creek Welcomes Winter Donations

I heard a guy ask an employee at a local coffee shop yesterday if it was “cold enough for ya?” I thought that was about as cliché as one might get… but then I thought about what was really going on outside… and it’s frickin’ cooooold! Our weather is certainly a topic of discussion. This year, Washington broke many record temperatures for coldest days in history… here in Olympia we reached 6 degrees yesterday. This is serious weather, and what I mean by serious is life threatening for people and pets. Fortunately there are many generous people willing to help those in need. Little Creek Casino Resort is taking this weather serious and asking for donations of a new coat or toy for children in need. By doing so, not only are people helping children stay warm and have a happier holiday, but Little Creek is offering a reduced hotel stay, a $20 food credit, and a buy-one get-one free espresso. It’s Little Creek’s way of saying thank you for helping the children in our community. If this Winter Wonderland package is as successful as their Fall Into Fun package was, many kids will be a lot warmer and happier this holiday season thanks to a caring community. I myself felt a lot warmer inside as I designed the graphics for their Winter Wonderland package. I wanted these graphics to be visually pleasing, but as well, truly helpful for this important, call-to-action message.
